Jim Payne - nearly lost his life making a ride across Scotland and is now preparing to ride across a major portion of the North American continent.

Hans Rasmussen - has made two rides in South America.

Isabelle Saupiquet - has ridden extensively in Europe, particularly France.

Sharon Savage and Sergio Robleto Elizondo rode their horses Titan and Granito 370 miles across Costa Rica during five weeks in 1993.  Titan was purchased for $130 just before being sold at a meat auction.

Mark Skinner - made a solo ride across western Ireland.

Jane Smith - rode from Connecticut to Canada.

Megan Son - rode across Alaska from south to north with Laurent Granier and Philippe Lansac.

Chantal Spleiss - has made several rides in Europe, and is now planning to ride across Canada.  See Chantal's page on Planned Expeditions.

Gill Suttle rode through Syria.  Author of "Between the Desert and the Deep Blue Sea."

Rene Weber - rode across Afghanistan.

David Wewetzer of Germany became the first person to start a journey along the newly created Iron Curtain Trail, starting at the Baltic sea!

Debbie York - rode from Helena, Montana to Grayland, Washington

Gary Ziegler - rode through the Sierra Madre region of Mexico in 1974, including a dangerous crossing of the Urique River.
