Explorers Web also reports on today's explorers Thomas and Borge, who recently made a journey in the Arctic Circle travelling in Fritjof Nansen's footsteps.  Nansen's life was almost certainly saved by Frederick Jackson, the British Long Rider who was the epitome of the Gentleman Explorer.
