Kimball Foord - Riding across Canada

Kimball wrote to The Guild to tell us about his journey from Guelph, Ontario west towards Vancouver, British Columbia.  He was planning to travel with his horse, Cody and Cheyenne, his dog, in an effort to raise funds and awareness for CANTRA, Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association.

In June 2006 his wife Jennifer sent us an update:

"So far, Kimball has logged over 800 miles. He started in Guelph, Ontario on May 6, 2006 and is just outside of North Bay, Ontario. From there he will be crossing the provinces to go across Canada to Vancouver, British Columbia. It is just his horse, Cody's Triple Revenge and himself with very little except the necessities. During his travels, he is bringing awareness to CanTRA, the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association, a registered charity that is across Canada that utilizes horses for disabled children and adults."

He would also like to become a member of the Long Riders' Guild once he's done this journey which approximates 4,000 miles (one way).
