Alpamis Dalaikhan was part of the team that made the first modern ride across Kazakhstan.

Nurbek Dalilkhan rode across the eastern portion of his native Kazakhstan.

Miles Dean rode "ocean to ocean" across the United States.

Jennifer Delaney - rode across Great Britain.
Kimberley Delavere rode north along Australia’s Bicentennial National Trail.

Ivan Denton - rode from Arkansas to California.

Tom and Jim Dickinson rode from the border of El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico to the Canadian border at Willow Creek, Saskatchewan.

Vaidotas Digaitis rode from the Baltic Sea in Lithuania to the Black Sea in Ukraine. He next completed a journey around the Baltic Sea to the Arctic Circle and back. He also pioneered a route around his native republic of Lithuania.

Margriet Dijkstra - rode from the Netherlands to Santiago de Compostella.

Eduardo Díscoli - Rode from Buenos Aires through all the Americas and Europe, and had planned to end his ride in North Africa.  His journey, however, was halted in Israel.

Christina Dodwell - has ridden on various continents,  including Africa, Asia and Europe.  Author of "A Traveller in China," "A Traveller on Horseback: In Eastern Turkey and Iran," "An Explorer's Handbook," "Beyond Siberia," "In Papua New Guinea," "Madagascar Travels," "Travels with Pegasus - a microlight journey across West Africa," and "Travels with Fortune." 

Jane Dotchin - has made numerous Long Rides for many years in the United Kingdom and Ireland and is the author of two books.

Ken Downey - rode from Mexico to Canada and the Atlantic to the Pacific Oceans.

Nicholas Ducret - rode from Kazakhstan to Afghanistan.

Alina Grace Dudding is the first woman to twice ride the length of the Pacific Crest Trail solo.

Roger Dunnam - rode from the Canadian border to the Kentucky Blue Grass country.

 

Hetty Dutra rode the length of the Nez Perce National Trail from Wallowa Lake, Oregon to the Bear Paw Battleground in Montana.
